MENA TRAVEL AWARDS 2006 Final NOMINEES and Winners

It is very important to recognize real talent and superior service quality in our industry to stimulate even higher standards and to applaud the effort made by so many. After the vast success of the 2004, 2005 and 2006 events; we are proud to be organizing these time-honored award ceremonies which aim is to recognize the accomplishment of the Tourism industry in the vivacious ME & NA Region. Thus the “MENA Travel Awards” system intends to highlight the unique position that the ME & NA holds in the international hospitality industry.

Considering the enrollments increase of 32 % this year and the number of ties (be equal) winners; there was, without prejudice, 72 winners on May 4th 2006, in the specially devised awards program. Hence, we have revealed the top three outright winners / ties of the “Platinum, Gold and Silver” awards for each of the 18 selected industry categories.

After an extensive audit process; these frontrunners have been virtuously selected this year by over 62,000 voters of the industry’s end users, guests and clients (adding up to over 180,000 votes with the 1st , 2nd and 3rd choice selections for all of the Eighteen Categories).

As well; In recognition of the finalist / nominees, having reached the irrefutable finals while meeting all necessary nomination qualifications / requirements; each of them has received a special contender’s runner up certificate.
